Design of an intercalated Nano-MoS2 hydrophobic catalyst with high rim sites to improve the hydrogenation selectivity in hydrodesulfurization reaction

چکیده
The preparation of the intercalated lamellar hydrophobic nano-MoS2 (size: 60−100 nm, interlayer spacing: 0.7–1.2 nm) through substitution organic amine for inorganic ammonium salt and subsequent catalytic reaction as a hydrodesulfurization catalyst is presented. groups broadened interspacing promoted formation stacking structure consisting stable monolayers. high hydrophobicity monolayer was confirmed. as-synthesized with lower steric hindrance higher number rim sites showed better performance hydrogenation route selectivity than traditional MoS2 catalyst. conversion dibenzothiophene using 86 % in comparison to 23 five cycles.
